Spring Reset: What Actually Adds Value to Your Home
Spring is one of the best times to check in on your home.
But not everything you do actually adds value.
Focus on what matters
Start with the things buyers (and inspections) notice most:
• Clean gutters + proper drainage
• Roof and exterior condition
• HVAC servicing
Then move to presentation
• Fresh landscaping
• Clean walkways / patios
• Touch-ups to paint or caulking
These small things go a long way.
Why this matters
A well-maintained home:
• Shows better
• Inspects better
• And ultimately sells better
My take
You don’t need to do everything.
But doing the right things now can make a big difference later—especially if selling is even a possibility this year.
If you’re thinking about making a move this year—or just want to understand what’s happening in your specific situation—I’m always happy to be a resource.
Real estate decisions usually start with a conversation, and I’m here whenever you need one.
